So, was at my mother's for the weekend (it was her birthday) and really enjoyed myself.

It started Thursday, when Dad got me a DDR mat and game.....he had read in the newspaper how DDR was helping young people keep in shape yadda, yadda, yadda and thought it would be great for me now and when I go to school (since my room is big enough for the mat) since I like dancing and have been worried about my weight.

And there are a few bonuses. I've been sleeping without the pills the doctors put me on and I've found I'm more relaxed if I just dance for about 90 minutes a day ^__^ The doctors said if this keeps up they might be able to take me off alot of my medication.

All because of dancing....

Now then....on to the art!




As you can see, colour in the pattern won. Not only because of the amount of votes but also because that bright gold dragon overpowered the little pattern too much. And even if the dragon is suppose to be the main focus of the page, I didn't want people to overlook that pain-in-the-ass pattern.

Hopefully everyone is okay with the final result ^__^ (I know I am and so are all the dragons over here)

I'm really really REALLY fond of that dragon.....

Dancing is soo much fun ^_______^ And I feel better at night knowing that I did something good for myself physically and am happy that I actually want to do it again the next day even if my legs are killing me!

Oooh, that's looking great. I think that the color is a good choice. And the shading is wonderful. makes it look all satiny. :)

Hmm... thats scary, that girl actually looks a lot like someone I know. Maybe its the posture? I dunno, its good though, anything that gets me to stare at it this long has to be. o_o

Yeah I'm still there as much as I can be. Whole incedent with my house and then my mom got divorced so I'm staying at her place till she gets back up on her feet. Its odd being back home with so much things different. 0_o I feel like I'm 15 again but then I see that old gruff in the mirror and remember that I'm 20! On top of that I know your birthday is coming up... (my memory rocks socks)

Wow. This was awesome when it was half finished - it's breathtaking now. SO beautiful. I love all of it - her, the dragon, the dress, the detail... just *WOW*.

And isn't DDR great? ^____^ I have it for the ps2. I should break out the pad and start doing it again - I felt a lot better when I was doing that for an hour a day.

Yes! DDR is amazing! I haven't felt so good in ages! So, you go dance too ^___^ Dancing has been proven to relieve stress and get you into shape all at the same time!

Oh, she just pops off the page! What a perfect choice of colors. She looks almost three-dimensional.

And that's great about the medication and stuff! DDR is a big help for my sister, the same way. She's got heart problems, and isn't allowed to do most exercise, so she's gained a lot of weight. Which isn't good either, of course. Plus, it's a lot of fun, isn't it? :)

Oooooo. Exceedingly snazzy! The textures are just gorgeous. Though, perhaps, the shadows on the patterned fabric are a smidge dark? I love that subtle patterning on the dragon, though.

It is a little too dark in some areas since I forgot to erase part of the layer when shading the pattern so the fabric got double shadows in places......

But yes...the pattern on the dragon was fun! I especially adoer it on his hands!
