I just spent three hours chasing down a dog who knows this area far better then I do...
See, I'm house/dog sitting for the week and well usually the dog is really good. He doesn't stray far and comes when he's called and is very well behaved. But today I went out to shovel a bit and he pushed past me and took off!
And wouldn't come close enough for me to catch him and refused to go back in ;;
So, three hours of tag ((and the help from a neighbour who only looks creepy and like a vampire and isn't actually creepy and a vampire)) and finally he's inside and so am I and I hurt from where I fell and I'm cold and *whines*
...
And there was a lot I had wanted to do in those three hours *pouts*

Date: 2010-02-16 01:04 am (UTC)Don't worry. Believe me, any dog owner will be grateful that someone actually cared enough to spend three hours trying to pin down their dog after it takes off. This is more than likely not the first time he's done this so don't feel bad.
