I really do not like this page ;___; I'm going to have to beg your forgivness for the quality of the art today. I guess the weather and stuff has really gotten me down.

Will probably re-do this page in the future if it bothers people, but for now I'll leave it so that I can advance the story....





Now to finish packing, and tommorrow I'll be back at school finally.

Eeeeeeeeee if this is what you consider to be less-than-stellar art, then I should introduce you to my doodles XD This is so good! Chopperfish's face in the first panel is so cute (and he's pouting! Eeee so cute ^^) I also really like the third panel, Sanji's pose is just so great. Chopper being squished is love too XD

And pffft, the second panel? I think I love Sanji best from that side profile where you can't see his eye. Dunno why, but even in the manga they're some of my favorite shots of Sanji. I love the slight-smirk/smile he's got on his face, it's so Sanji.

Good luck with the packing, and don't let the weather get you down! And pffft don't let us pressure you into churning this out every day if you don't want to. I mean, we all love it, but we don't want you to beat yourself up over it *glomps*

I think I love Sanji's profile shots as well simply because they tell you everything you need to know without revealing anything! And that probably made no sense whatsoever, so please ignore me >_>;

Also, starting tommorrow pages won't appear everyday ;___; ((and I'm sad because even though I don't have to, I really want to tell you guys this story)) they'll appear every few days when schoolwork allows it.

Will do my best to spoil you guys with other art though.

I have no idea why you are dissatisfied with this page. I LOVE Chopperfish's teary eyes--he's so CUTE! And that profile shot of Sanji is really, really reminiscent of Japanese manga styles, where you see the smile, but the eyes are hidden so that you can't tell if he's being evil or nice, or something in between.

You know, I like how Chopper's got hooves instead of hands. He just looks so darned adorable.

And don't believe him, Chopper! Mer-Sanji is SO going to get in trouble!

*staaaaares at it* To be perfectly honest, it looks really good to me. Mer-Sanji is absolutely perfect. The way he's holding his leaf and slouching a little on Chopperfish is just like the real Sanji to me.

I think the only thing I would wonder at is Chopperfish's arms. The position they are in makes me think he's leaning forward, which sort of throws off the technical aspect of things. Maybe if they had little motion waves, like he was flailing instead, it would look more like he was just being squished down by Mer-Sanji?

Actually, the stiffness makes it better. It's like he was caught by surprise and is trying to catch himself, while forgetting he's a fish now. I find it funnier this way.

Seriously, I do not see why you are not satisfied wiht the page...Sanji is incredibly hot and Chopperfish adorably cute (the way he pouts is shooo adorable). And do you have *any* clue just how jealous I am of Chopper in that 3rd panel? Just how much I'd give to be in his situation??
His grin in the 2nd panel is so 100% Sanji and it always amuses me that he holds the sea-weed like a real cigarette ^.^

So I really like this page!! Don't trouble yourself over it so much!

And hopefully you have finished packing by now, the rain has stopped and you feel a bit better now. because since you made us all happy with your drawings, it would be nice if you were happier now as well...

I stared at it for a looong time and looked for anything that would be not-perfect. In that 3rd panel, you seem to mind so much, I really can't find anything at all. I totally love it as it is.

The only tiny, tiny, tiny little thing I found is in the 4th panel. There, Chopper's cheeks look a bit too chubby and round and big, but that is really all I could find. And maybe that only is because of the angle is he drawn ^^'

I realize this probably doesn't help you very much, but I thought I'd mention it anyways ^^'
However, I really wouldn't redraw it if I were you because it looks good enough as it is. but if you really are unhappy everytime you look at it, then I guess it can't be helped, can it?
But maybe you actually started accepting it already ^.^

Oh,a nd I saw that you moved to school finally. Damn, that room sounds soo great!! You are totally spoiled there! is this only an art school or do they have by any chance other programs there as well and accept foreign students? ^.~
But you deserve finally being back to where you feel comfortable, so have fun there ^__^

Well, I love it ^__^ Especially that third panel! Gah, awesome pose, so relaxed, so friendly, so Sanji...And aww, what an adorable thing to say to our Chopperfish. Even if I'm sure Sanji can probably stay safe on his own, I'm sure that's like giving Chopper a verbal hug :P Hmm, interesting that Chopper said 'hurt again'. Sounds like backstory...

It's weird, I sometimes have the feeling of something off with a fic/chapter I write (not often, thankfully), and for the love of me can't pin it down. Sometimes that feeling goes away, sometimes not. When I post it, nobody's been able to point out to me anything that can explain the feeling (so far), so I just hope it's only in my head ^_^ I hope it looks better to you tomorrow, once the weather/hormones/alignment of venus/alien brainwashing stops, because it's nice to be happy with your own work, but if it helps, everybody else here seems to love it ^_^

Everyone loves the one panel that drove me insaen and still does. It's so very odd, but it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who gets that weird discontent feeling with their own work.

I don't know what it is, but it still feels off...

Oh, don't beat yourself up, sweetheart. I think it turned out just fine. Especially that third panel that you seem to not like so much. Sanji looks incredibly relaxed and totally himself, while also showing a little affection for Chopper that is super-sweet. The pose is just perfect for him.

Egads, Chopper's expression in the first panel... ;_; I want to pick him up and cuddle him forever and ever until he feels better. Sooo cute!

well, since you seem so unhappy with the page, i scrutinized it for Stuff What Bothers Me. at first glance i couldn't even find anything. second and third glance, and every subsequent glance, the only panel i could find anything in was the first one. nothing i can see in any of the other panels bothers me--in fact, the third panel, which you seemed worried about, is the best one by far. i don't have a problem with chopper's legs at all--it looks like a natural, tense reaction to someone suddenly leaning on your head hard enough to squish your hat. even underwater. sanji's pose is really great, very casual and natural--the way he holds his weed away from his mouth is particularly nice--and his expression is really great. his expression in the second panel is great too, and it's a nice profile shot. chopper's expressions in the first and last panel are as adorable and expressive as they should be. so i think you are being too hard on yourself about this page. it's really good, as all of the pages have been, and probably will be.

as for Stuff What Bothers Me in the first panel, it's not even anything major, though it might take me a bit of room to describe it. the main thing is chopper's body--i'm assuming that the right side of the panel is showing his torso leading up to the bend in his waist? it's kind of hard to tell--there isn't much contrast, and no differentiation between textures--fur and scales, presumably. i know the style you're working in is minimal when it comes to textural detail, but some more contrast at least might define the shape a little better. or redo the panel and frame it differently--it's kind of a weird angle. (i've never done manga and so i don't know how feasible it is to just redo one panel.) also, and this is pretty subjective, when i try to follow the line of chopper's torso from where i presume his collarbones would be all the way to the bend in his waist, his torso seems way too long. while, by contrast, his hat seems too short. but the main focus of the page is chopper's watery, pouty expression, and as far as i'm concerned, that's flawless.

You looked and tried to help me figure out what's bothering me and that means as much as all the praise does to me. It may just be that small thing with Chopper in the first panel. It could be that the shading is a little too sloppy or busy in some areas, or it could be that I spent too much time drawing the third panel.

I'm still not sure exactly what it is, but you've helped me find a direction to look in and I'm thankful for that ^___^
